Sitemap is a collection of internal links of a website. It can be opened with a unique URL (It is the location where your Sitemap placed on your root directory of your web server). You can create your own Sitemap and save it in your server directory.

A sitemap is a file that we create for web crawlers. It gives them a list of web pages to crawl on the website. Although most web crawlers can explore and discover all the files on the websites, it helps the crawler to metadata, such as how often the information on the page changes (suggesting how often it should be crawled), and details about content that is difficult for a search engine to parse, such as video or image file descriptions. You can view, add, and test sitemaps prior to submitting on any search engines.

All sitemap are in XML documents. XML means Extensible Markup Language. This document contains a list of pages of a Website accessible to Search Engine Robots.
